Today, July 11, 2023, a cooperation meeting was held at the Buddhapanya Meeting Room, International Buddhist Studies College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The meeting was led by Phrakhrupalad Pannavoravat (Hansa Dhammamaso), Prof. Dr., Director of the College, and attended by representatives from the Nitiwat Institute, the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand, led by ML Supakit Charoonroj, Secretary-General.
During the meeting, both parties recognized the significance of incorporating Buddhist principles, particularly Buddhist peaceful means, mediation, jurisprudence, criminology, and justice, to enhance the skills, knowledge, understanding, and actions of personnel in various departments and organizations.
The aim was to foster peace within the organizations and society at large. Consequently, both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 15, 2023, to formalize their collaboration in promoting peace at the organizational, societal, national, and international levels.
