LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
At International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC)
At International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), English is the language of instruction and assessment. For study in IBSC you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for acceptance. International students who want to study at IBSC, but do not have the required level of English language proficiency, can improve their English to the required levels at the LIMCU Language Institute of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU).

Canadian Pre-University (CPU)
Minimum score 65% in English subject ENG4C

Other Canadian matriculation results are accepted on a case by case basis.

For BA in Buddhist Studies minimum overall score of 5.0 with no band less than 5.0 (must include Academic Reading and Writing modules) for all diploma courses EXCEPT as specified below.
For the MA in Peace Studies, MA in Buddhist Studies , MA in Mindfulness and Meditation, a minimum overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0
For the Doctor of Philosophy in Buddhist Studies, Doctor of Philosophy in Peace Studies, Doctor of Philosophy in Mindfulness and Meditation, a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.5 in Speaking and Listening, and no less than 6.5 in Reading and Writing.
