Venerable Neminda Dr.

Venerable Dr. Ugyen Tshering was born in Bhutan and was ordained as a Buddhist monk at a young age. He has a profound interest in Buddhist texts and philosophy, especially within the Tibetan tradition. He pursued his higher education in Bhutan and Thailand, earning an M.A. in Buddhist Philosophy from Tango Buddhist University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. Ven. Dr. Ugyen Tshering has presented academic papers at international conferences across Asia and has contributed significantly to Buddhist academic literature through translations and original research. Currently, he is a faculty member at the International Buddhist Studies College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, where he teaches subjects such as the Mūlamadhyamakakārikā, mindfulness and meditation, and the principles of psychology.
