we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Most Venerable Shih Hsin Ting, Abbot of Fo Guang Shan Thai Hua Temple, for providing us with a wonderful opportunity to visit the temple.
Assoc. Prof. Konit Srithong,Ph.D, Vice Director of IBSC, Most Ven. Phramaha Anon Annando, Asst,Prof, Dr,. As a lecturer from IBSC along with the Administrator and lecturer,staff of the IBSC participated meeting. In this meeting head by the Most Venerable Dr. Shih Hsin-Thig, Abbot of the Buddha Light Function or Fo Gung Shan Temple and administrator from IBSC.
The purpose of this discussion is to outline the collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IBSC and Buddha Light Foundation.
The focus of the meeting is to establish cooperation in education, promoting academic collaboration, and advancing Buddhist Studies.
The key agenda includes the development of a curriculum aligned with GD and IBSC MOU regulations, emphasizing certification and graduate education levels. The institutions aim to introduce a new Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies (Chinese) program, with the objective of cultivating expertise in Buddhist principles within the Chinese language context.
This initiative aligns with the royal aspirations of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, emphasizing the university’s mission to produce graduates, conduct research and development, promote Buddhism, and provide academic services to society while preserving arts and culture.
