The international Buddhist Studies Committee organized a special lecture on the topic: Mindfulness in Theravada Buddhism and Vedanta.


by Most Venerable Swami Medhananda. Senior Researcher fellow in Psychology

at Vedanta Society of Southern California Hindu Chaplain at UCLA and the University of Souther California.


In this lecture mentioned about The practice involves the Satipatthana Four, or the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. It’s crucial to recall that in Vipassana meditation, the focus is on the Five Aggregates or the Khandha: feeling, perception, mental formations, consciousness, and corporeality.
