IBSC Update:
The International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), MCU, Thailand, is advancing Buddhist knowledge to an international level through collaboration with Nanhua University, a prominent Buddhist institution in China. Together, they are crafting a curriculum that focuses on teaching diverse and global Buddhist doctrines. This initiative introduces a new program at IBSC, offering a Master of Arts Program in Global Buddhist Studies (Chinese Language), along with a short-term certificate program in Chinese Studies. These programs aim to provide a foundation in the Chinese language and enhance students’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Therefore, Phra Medhivajarapundit, Ph.D., Director of IBSC, and Phra Suthirattanabundit, Assoc.Prof.Dr., Dean of the Graduate School, MCU, collaborated with Most Venerable Shih Hsin Ting, Abbot of Fo Guang Shan Thai Hua Temple, and the team to design these programs.
