“The teacher has imparted that many who claim to be Buddhists do so merely by status, as indicated in their ID card or passport. Genuine understanding of Buddhism is rare, and finding those who comprehend and practice its core teachings is even more challenging. The essence of the Buddha’s teachings resides within our mind and body, not confined to temples, monasteries, or meditation halls. True learning of the Dharma comes from a thorough study of one’s own mind and body.

The practice involves the Satipatthana Four, or the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. It’s crucial to recall that in Vipassana meditation, the focus is on the Five Aggregates or the Khandha: feeling, perception, mental formations, consciousness, and corporeality.

From the very beginning of your meditation practice, observing the nature of your mind and body, the Four Foundations of Mindfulness aim to anchor your awareness on Kaya, Vedana, Citta, and Nama, or your Rupa and Nama. This mindfulness extends throughout your practice.

Therefore, the teacher emphasizes that a valuable and good life is one imbued with mindfulness and wisdom, influencing every step in every aspect of life.”
