Essential Information for BA Students

Understand the types of requests and required documents to ensure a smooth application process.

The General Request Form is ONLY AVAILABLE on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Thailand Time). Please plan your submission accordingly, as you can collect your letter on Fridays of the same week, from 1:30 PM onwards.

1. Types of General Requests

General Request For Visa

in Thailand

This request is specifically for students who have already obtained an ED Visa from IBSC MCU and are seeking to extend their current visa within Thailand.

General Request For Visa Abroad

Designed for students who are applying for their visa from IBSC MCU for the very first time. This request applies specifically to applications made at a Thai Embassy or Thai Consulate General located in your home country.

 

IMPORTANT:

You must carefully provide the full and accurate address of the Thai Embassy or Thai Consulate General in your country.Example: "Royal Thai Embassy, 77 Tran Quoc Thao Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam"

Renew Passport

Utilize this option if you require an official letter or documentation from IBSC to facilitate the renewal or issuance of a new passport book through your respective authorities.

Dormitory

Select this request if you wish to apply for a dormitory space within the MCU dormitories or to extend your current stay in an existing MCU dormitory.

Open New Bank Account

This request facilitates obtaining an official letter from IBSC, which is necessary to open a new bank account in Thailand.

Student Status Verification

Request a formal letter from IBSC confirming your current enrollment and official student status at IBSC MCU for various purposes.

2. Documents Required for Online Submission

Please ensure the following documents are meticulously prepared BEFORE Monday to guarantee a smooth and successful General Request Form submission. All documents should be submitted in a clear file format (e.g., high-resolution scanned images or well-formatted PDFs) for upload.

Official Photo (Blue Background)

A recent, front-facing portrait photo with a plain blue background. Ensure it is a clear, professional image suitable for official documents.

Your Passport Page (Picture) File

A clear scanned copy or high-quality photo of the page in your passport that contains your picture, full name, and personal details. All information must be legible.

Your Resident Certificate File or Accommodation

Certificate Letter

This crucial document verifies your current living address in Thailand. The specific file required depends on your accommodation type:

            If you reside in an MCU Dormitory, download and print the Dormitory Form. Fill it out accurately, ensuring you leave the "Director, Office of Academic Affairs" section blank. After completion, have the Dormitory management officially sign the form, then scan and upload it.

            If living at a Temple: Upload a certificate confirmed and signed by your Abbot, explicitly stating that you are currently residing there. Scan this certificate for submission.

           If staying in an Apartment or Dormitory outside MCU: You must upload your TM30 form. The TM30 form is also widely recognized as "Notification from House-Master, Owner or the Possessor of the Residence where Alien has Stayed". Ensure this form is properly filled, signed, scanned, and uploaded for your living address verification.

Your Current Visa Stamp Page

A clear scanned copy or high-quality photo of your current visa stamp page in your passport, ensuring the visa expiration date and all details are clearly visible and legible.

3. Post-Submission: Physical Document Requirements (For Students Already in Thailand)

After successfully submitting the General Request Form online on Monday, if you are a student who already holds an ED Visa or is currently residing in Thailand, you must physically come to the IBSC office on Tuesday (or the next working day) to submit the following documents in hand:

For Visa Extension/Application in Thailand:

A300 Form

This is a specific visa application form. You can obtain it from the A300 office, located in the MCU building, 3rd floor. Alternatively, you can download and print it from this link . Please ensure it is filled out completely and accurately before bringing it to the office.

Your Passport Page (Picture) Copy

A clear paper copy of the page in your passport that contains your picture, full name, and personal details. All information must be legible.

Tuition Fees Copy (Signed)

A signed copy of your tuition fee payment receipt or official statement. This copy must bear your signature to be valid.
